Local Hazard Mitigation Plan

The Coachella Valley Water District (CVWD) is currently engaged in a planning process to become better prepared for natural, man-made, and technological disasters, and your participation is important to us!

CVWD, along with its partners, is working to create a Hazard Mitigation Plan. The purpose of this Plan is to identify and assess our community’s hazard risks and determine how to best minimize or manage those risks. Upon completion, the Plan will represent a comprehensive approach to managing hazards that may impact the CVWD.

This survey
provides an opportunity for you to share your opinions and participate in the mitigation planning process. The information you provide will help us better understand your hazard concerns and help us identify mitigation activities that should help reduce the impact of future hazard events, including the impacts of climate change and variability.

Please help us by completing this survey by November 5, 2018.

All responses will be kept confidential and will only be used to inform CVWD’s Hazard Mitigation Plan and the associated planning process.

If you have any questions regarding this survey or would like to learn about more ways you can participate in the development of the CVWD Hazard Mitigation Plan, please contact Katie Evans, (CVWD) at 760-398-2661 ext. 2353 or by email at KEvans@cvwd.org.
