Your February Water Wise Tip of the Month

Outdoor water conservation is one of the most significant methods of water conservation in the Coachella Valley.

Save more water outdoors this month with these three tips:

  1. Don't water plants and grass every day. Plants and grass don't need much water during the cool season. In fact, outdoor watering is prohibited on Mondays and Thursdays until March 31st.
  2. Turn your sprinklers off when it rains. Keep them off for at least 48 hours after the rain has stopped. (This is a mandatory water-use restriction).
  3. Consider purchasing a smart controller if you have grass. These devices self-adjust according to current weather data. These controllers can reduce outdoor water use by an average of 26 percent!

Thanks for saving water, keep up the good work!
