A dry and stable westerly flow aloft will be with us for one more day today for a continuation of our current conditions. A cool trough of low pressure approaching from the NW will just brush the region late Monday and Tuesday for cooler and windy conditions. But then a strong high pressure system builds into the region from the west during the latter half of the week and the weekend for exceptionally hot and dry conditions.
